Each month we will meet on the second Sunday of the month. Generally speaking, we'll have two topics discuss. Most months I will lead a short discussion topic for 10-15 minutes, then we will have a guest speaker to discuss another topic for a length of anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour and 15 minutes. Unless otherwise noted, all of these monthly meetings will be free to attend. -Darryl
FEBRUARY TOPIC: LIGHTROOM BETA 4 w/Gene McCullagh
That’s right, Lightroom 4 Beta is ready for you to play with. Gene McCullagh, a certified Adobe Community Professional will present an overview of the new features and changes made in Lightroom Beta 4. If you want to start playing with it, you can download your copy at http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/lightroom4/.
As a reminder THIS IS BETA SOFTWARE!!!!! Gene cautions us to not use this against any of your original images. Make separate copies of some images you want to experiment with so that your originals are protected. "I can’t stress this enough. Whenever a new Beta is released I hear from a handful of readers who didn’t heed this warning. It’s not always a happy ending. So, one more time, THIS IS BETA SOFTWARE!!!!!" -Gene
