Introduction
My first real camera was a manual SLR Olympus OM2. Then I got hooked on the P&S camers for a long time. May of 2011 I got my first DSLR, the Canon 7D Woo Hoo! Had to relearn things I'd forgotten how to do to take a good picture.
What camera(s) and equipment (i.e. lenses) do you use?
Canon 7D, Wimberely gimbel head, manfrotto tripod, Canon 18-200, Canon 100mm Macro, Canon 70-200 White lens, Canon 600mm White lens, Sigma 10mm fisheye and Tokina 11-16 wideangle, Canon 580EX-II speedlite, Metz 44 AF-1 speedlite, Rode external mic.
What photo manipulation program(s) do you use? (i.e. Adobe Lightroom; Photoshop CS5 for PC or Mac)
Recently purchased Lightroom3, Canon Zoom BrowserEX 6.5, Canon Digital Photo Professional 3.8
Is photography a hobby or profession?
So far just a hobby but would entertain as a profession.
What types of photography do you enjoy (i.e. nature; artistic; portraits; landscapes; macro; etc...)
Wildlife, Artistic, Landscapes, Macro, Light painting.
Do you have a favorite place/event that you like taking pictures of? If yes, feel free to explain.
Local, State and National parks, Various Municipal Gardens, Fort Worth Stockyards
