Introduction
Greetings everyone! Just your local Adobe enthusiast who participates in local community events whenever he's not teaching people Photoshop, Lightroom or a host of Adobe products. Look forward to coming out on some field trips.
What camera(s) and equipment (i.e. lenses) do you use?
Canon 20D, Canon D30 (that's the 3MB oldie). Olympus with a wireless remote, and Canon Elf for carry along.
What photo manipulation program(s) do you use? (i.e. Adobe Lightroom; Photoshop CS5 for PC or Mac)
Lightroom for processing, Photoshop for finishing touches. Beta tester for Adobe so I'm using CS3 & beyond. Prefer a Mac, but can wrestle a PC when necessary.
Is photography a hobby or profession?
I'd call it more of a passion. Plus it keeps me out of trouble (most of the time)
What types of photography do you enjoy (i.e. nature; artistic; portraits; landscapes; macro; etc...)
Started in Action - Motocross racing, but enjoy all different subject matter. Trying to do more portrait work, but do a lot of product stuff now.
Do you have a favorite place/event that you like taking pictures of? If yes, feel free to explain.
I have not landed that perfect spot in DFW. Too busy traveling out of state for work I suppose. Find me more people that want Adobe training in Texas please. *chuckle*

We dropped Ning last summer. Meetup does a much better job organizing the meetings. In the mean time while we were on Ning, Meetup developed better photography support. Meetup is better.
