Introduction
Hello My Name is Charles Quinn I live in Mesquite, Texas. I have been taking photos for six years for news papers such as Herald Banner in Royse City, Mesquite Star Telegram, and Neighbors to Go. I am interseting to learn more all the time.
What camera(s) and equipment (i.e. lenses) do you use?
I use a Nikon D200 with EX Sigma 70 - 200mm 1:2.8 APO DG Macro HSM Lense, for shooting subjects from a safe distance, Nikon DX AF-S Nikkor 18-70mm 1:3.5-4.5G ED and Quantary AV LD 55 - 200mm 1:4-5.6 Macro ɸ52. I also, use the Nikon Speedlight SD-700, when a flash is required.
What photo manipulation program(s) do you use? (i.e. Adobe Lightroom; Photoshop CS5 for PC or Mac)
Adobe Photoshop Elements 10, I am hoping to upgrade as I get established in the Photography industry.
Is photography a hobby or profession?
Photography is a hobby, while I am working on making it a profession!
What types of photography do you enjoy (i.e. nature; artistic; portraits; landscapes; macro; etc...)
I enjoy nature, artistic, portraits, landscapes, and action shots. I have not had to opportunity to take macro photos, but would like to learn this and all other photography techniques to better understand how to capture my subjects.
Do you have a favorite place/event that you like taking pictures of? If yes, feel free to explain.
I do not favorite place or event, I just love taking photos in general. I love being behind the camera and capturing images for everything and being able to share the photos with everyone that is interested in them.
