I just love taking pictures, capturing life as it stands. My favorites are animals and nature, but I tend to like it all.

What camera(s) and equipment (i.e. lenses) do you use?

Canon 7d, various lens......love the wide angle lens's

What photo manipulation program(s) do you use? (i.e. Adobe Lightroom; Photoshop CS5 for PC or Mac)

Lightroom, Photoshop, Google Picasa, Portrait Professional

Is photography a hobby or profession?

Photography is just a hobby for me now, and love making extra money on the side doing it.

What types of photography do you enjoy (i.e. nature; artistic; portraits; landscapes; macro; etc...)

I really enjoy landscaping pictures and artistic shots. I also enjoy doing portraits for people for fun.....and jazzing them up in some software program.....

Do you have a favorite place/event that you like taking pictures of? If yes, feel free to explain.

I love nature, it is God's gift to us, and it's FREE! I'm also a avid bird lover... Love history and love to travel either by flying or just taking road trips....

I have only been a member of this group for a short while, but I'm loving it! The guys running the meetups are very friendly and knowledgeable of alot of different types of cameras and levels. I was a little intimidated at first, since I'm still fairly new to digital SLR scene, but the organizers have always made me feel comfortable.
