Thank you; you as well! See you again soon.
It was great meeting you today! I didn't realize you were from Houston! We just moved here from Katy. Hope to see you again soon!
I was nice meeting you as well!
I also did some tripod shots and they came out equal on focus. Did you make sure that your VR off when you did the focus shots? Nikon lenses won't focus well when the Vibration reduction is turned on with tripod. I'm going to try shooting again this weekend with my 70-200VR lens and see what results I get. This was the lens I used when I had soft focusing.
I noticed that I have to really take a good stance and then snap the picture. The other thing I did was read all the chapters on auto focus, Tracking ect. I was using AFS when I first got the camera and recently switched to AFA, Also AFC works really good if your subject is moving a lot. AFS doesnt seen to work as well unless your probably on tripod.
Hey Glenda, Funny that you ask that question because my first outing I had the exact same problem. My pictures were not a 100% focused, a little soft. I did two things so far that I think are making a difference. First thing is you have to remember that 16.1MP is not near as forgiving as 12.1MP. With my D90 I'm so used to lifting and popping pictures zoomed in tight.
Hi Glenda, Thanks for the comments. I use a 50mm for most of my portraits. Some of the pictures were taken with my 18-55 and 55-200mm. I use Lightroom 3 for most of my editing.
